Its amazing how volunteering a little time, throwing in a couple bucks here and there for our cause can come back in Aces.

Friday afternoon I got a call from an exceptional table mechanic saying he's passing through town and would like to stop by. When he arrived the first thing he wanted to do is see my table. He checks it out, then stares at me and says "How about I fix this seam, fix that crack, re-level the bed, and restreach the rail cloth?"

He's working for about 5 hours with still 350 miles left to travel and the only thing he'd let me do to help is remove the staples from the bed cloth after he pulled it loose. Other than that I couldn't even get close to the table much less touch anything.

I grab my checkbook and he wants to break my neck for even thinking about it. He tells my son who didn't understand why he was doing this and simply told him, "Your dad supports the game"

In my mind I havn't done much at all and undeserving of such fine treatment.

With that in mind take a look at what you can do for this game, even if its a small token and it may come back around for you. Believe me it doesn't take much and every little bit helps keep us alive.

Thanks Steve but wasn't looking for praise. I was looking for folks to find a way, any way to support 3C. That's all. Not only does it feel good to do it, sometimes good things could come back. I really haven't done all that much and searching for myself for creative ways.

What goes around comes around is the point.

Exactly what the game needs!

Except when you're RatF@@Ker!!!.

But Tom is right--- you get a good feeling when you know you're supporting something you love and ask for no reward in return....
