A Nice Solution For Carrying An Extension...

Being a big fellow I tend to get bellyhooked more than you skinny guys. But I do still see skinny guys (think Stevie Moore & JA) who don't travel anywhere without their extensions. So, where the heck are we supposed to carry them?

After a few unsuccessful attempts at finding a solution, I finally decided to have Dennis Swift make a case for me with an added (dedicated) pouch on the rear for my 16" Hager. I wanted it to be as stealthy as an added 17" pouch could be so in order to blend it I had Dennis put no design on it other than the nice basketweave that matches the background of the case. I also had him put a scuffer/tapper pocket on the rear just above the extension pouch.

It is a 3 x 6. I now have a place to put everything I want to carry. For me, this is the perfect case. :thumbup:

Dennis is a great guy to deal with.

Best,
Brian kc

Curious how much extra for the JB Pouch's CASE ROCKS! Congrats, now if someone just started making the Hager Type Extensions again.

Great case, but I would have asked Dennis to sew the pockets on where the bottoms of them were touching the ground when the case is sitting perfectly upright. This would have made the case a lot more stable, possibly enough for the case to be better used as a free-standing cue holder (when the cues are screwed together). Just a thought.

Love the case though!!!

I already have one of his very same 3 x 6 cases minus the extension pouch and, just like the old one, besides being built like tanks, they serve perfectly as stand-alone, cue holders. No need for the added stability that lowering the pouches to near floor level could offer. Plus, I wouldn't want the leather getting scarred up so soon down there.

A case shouldn't look all shagged out for at least 6 months. :thumbup:

Hi Cowboy;

Still puzzled over what you mean by "JB Pouch's" (sic). Can you explain?

Regarding the Hager extensions, I agree, and also hope they will resume production. It is an excellent product.

I am a little slow on the uptake, you were referring to a Jump Butt pouch?

The jump handle has its own dedicated storage in the side of the large lower front pouch on the front of the case (on the pics I posted, seen from the side view only).
