P.S. Elephants are far from being the most peaceful animal in the world. Elephants on musk kills more rhinos than us humans.

No that's not true...

If an elephant would ever kill a rhino... which i doubt it, it would only be in self defense.

That's why you and everyone else likes them, they looks great:)
We may not get along when it comes to Earl Strickland, but I agree with you 100percent on this.

Real Ivory looks great in a cue.

You really didn't come off very well. If you're not crusading, I apologize if I seemed a bit rough on you. Believe me, we know about this, and have for a long time. After thinking about it, I've owned two cues out of the 30+ that I've owned in my playing career, that had ivory ferrules. No other ivory in any of the rest, including the only cue I now play with.
I'm not against it, I'd have a cue with ivory if I could afford it. And I applaud the cuemakers who use a substitute or mamouth ivory.
I sent Jimmy Stewart an article about using ivory in pool cues and he sent me a nice, hand written note. He said he would use the information in the next talk he gave on the subject of the African elephant.

I have not been able to find a McDermott cue that isn't made with dead animals which is a shame because these cues could be made with out it...

And they have some beautiful designs.

Actually this is a forum and i was under the impression that it was a place to share thoughts..

And also i did research it my friend, almost all the cues i looked for at a high price says Ivory.

I don't think I'm the bad gay here caring for a precious animal like an elephant.

First, you can share thoughts, but this has been brought up and the search button will offer reading for your pleasure.

Second, those cues probably make up less than 1% of the pool stick population, so your research seems flawed.

Third, your original post was clearly argumentative and accusatory = and to quote you, you are a bad gay.

im not sure what your looking at, and i may be wrong but i dont know of any good cuemakers that only make cues with ivory. keep in mind your paying for the ivory in an ivory cue so just because a cue is cheaper doesnt make it worse than one that does have it. its cheaper because it doesnt have it.

I have tried to search for it and could not find the information i was looking for, the only thing that came up was when people introduced their cues with stats.

How can you prove to me that only 1% of the cues have real ivory in it? is this just assumption or do you actually have a source that would confirm this to me?

And about being a bad gay, that was a typo and i fixed it, i am not gay and i have nothing against gays.

Give me a chance i am not even english.

You are correct, i didn't express my self the way i would have wanted due to limited knowledge of the language i am using.

Good thing i have firefox and a corrector or else this would be even worst.

There are numerous quality cuemakers that will be happy to make a cue for you to your own specifications and design. You have to find one for yourself though...you may want to start in the cuemaker's forum.

Thank you, do you have any suggestions?
