Two of my favorites. Both in near perfect condition.

Howdy;

Beauties, the pair of'em. Do have a question though, I wasn't aware that B. Stroud had
done the flat faced joints with the shaft being threaded for the the pin. Was that a "special
order" or was there a time frame for those and a time frame for the 5/16" X 14 piloted?
If so it may help me (or not), date the one I have ( 5/16" X 14 piloted).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and / or any further information.

I am no expert but I believe Stroud made both flat face ivory and micarta joints as well as piloted steel joints over a wide time frame of dates. These cues are late 1970's.

Used Ivory, Micarta, Implex, Phenolic and even wood for flat faced joints.
Always was looking for the best material.
