Hello, fellow AZB'ers....

I am kindly asking everyone to take a moment and vote or register the number of complete ball SETS you currently own - not necessarily "play" with but own for whatever reason, be it nostalgia, collectible, themed, etc. For example, having sets of the Brunswick Centennials and the Aramith Premiums and the Aramith Snooker set would count as having 3 sets.

1-3 SETS
4-6 SETS
7-10 SETS
11-15 SETS
16-21 SETS
22-27 SETS
28+ SETS

Thanks everyone!

Sorry ALL - I was attempting to set up a POLL, but wasn't given the option like I thought would happen. Yes, I read the poll instructions but again, wasn't given the option when I posted.....perhaps because I used the ipad app version?

I have 3 sets.

Elephant = JUNK
aramith mid range set < used with my table.
aramith mid range set < used, but lesser wear on them.

I'm going to buy the super pros soon though.

I have 2 sets in the house, Centennials and Premiers, but the Premiers belong to another guy who just has to come pick them up. :)

All you need is 1.

Two. A set of Premiers came with the table. I recently bought a set of Centennials which are what I use now, but mostly with a measles cue ball instead of the blue circle.

Pool Ball Sets

1 cheap set that came with my table
1 set of Brunswick Centennials (very nice pool balls)
1 of the newest Aramith Tournament Pro Cup sets that I bought at this years US Open (they were used in the US Open)

So far, seems 2-4 sets is the average ---- which is way beyond what [ideologist] needs (1) 😁 and no one will (likely) disagree that you can "do" an awful lot with just one set of balls no matter the brand or age or composition. Passion plays well with almost anything I think.

This begs the question however: who in the world is buying up all the other various ball sets out there besides a few of us "fanatics"? And --- once the "fanatics" have them, what do they do with them? Display? Variety play? Hoarding😳? Collector bug? Nostalgia? Specialty games?

While we're on the subject of balls, anyone interested in passing along a unique or obscure or nutty set, perhaps post in this thread 😄

Thanks, Everyone!

I have more balls than I can shake a stick at ! .... and got a few sticks too but I digress.

2.25" Centennials on the table
2.25" dull worn balls that came with the table
2.125" numbered balls, 2 sets, from a table that came with the house and a gift
2.125" snooker balls the same left-behind table
1.??" mini balls that came with the minintable ... Duh !
About a set-and-a-half very old balls, although not a full set as I can find no 12 ball in the box, yet have several 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and cue balls. Some of these lookmlike the numbers were hand written, and many are broken but repaired with some kind of solder

So what, about 7 or 8 ? Funny thing is I almost bought a set today, a 2.25" set of billiard balls.

1 set of Super Aramith Pros I use daily, and one set of super cheap-os I bought to hold me over while waiting for the Super Aramith Pros.

Six sets for play, all Centenial. Five antique sets all Brunswick between 60-100 years old.

1 set of super pros.

I can't see any reason to have more than one set. I sold my centeniels when i bought the aramiths,

Brunswick Centennials, Aramith Super Pro and Super Pro TV. Maybe one day I'll have space for table, and then I'll really splurge.

txstang1 --- no reason to have more than one set? Come on now - not even for nostalgia reasons (as in you grew up with Centennials maybe) or a favorite baseball team set for your best friend when he visits and loves that particular team) or maybe the Aramith Camo set because you are an amazing hunter - or love the design.....or perhaps a poker set to play something different? Those are a few reasons - just maybe 😁

Anyone else wanna chime in with number of ball sets owned so I can get a rough idea of the average - and maybe win a small, friendly wager?😁

Any other interesting pool ball sets out there, folks?
