A Proposition For All Of My Vcash.

So does this require straight outside (and a lot of it)? What speed do you need to shoot the shot?
You want the cue ball to have neither draw nor follow when it hits the object ball. You can judge the speed from the youtube postings.

So I take this to mean a "stun" shot... with a lot of outside?

I tried this shot this weekend with the cueball also frozen to the rail, I had to hit the ball at warp speed to get it across the table with that thin of a hit, so it would be one hell of a "stun" shot! :p

You cant make that shot on just any table . the condition must be right and the thing he is using for a bridge will give him the ability to put more spin on the ball than with a normal brigde . Also not saying its the case in this video but if the rails are ribbed from warping or stretched to tight it would be quite easy :)

The shot does not require anything special or strange about the cushions. It probably works better on old cloth so the transferred spin can work better. The shot also does not require Joe's special fixture or shooting into the cushion. Dr. Dave's video was made without shooting into the cushion.
