A question about my Viking cue

I was always curious about is the butt cap on my Viking. As you can see it has a Harley Davidson stamp on the rubber :p so I'd like to know the story behind that, is it random, I don't recall seeing any HD series of cues or anything.

The cue was bought off Vikings's site (maybe Seyberts not 100%) around 2008, it was a G46 model, now the same cue with a different join and wrap is sold under the A621 code.

I saw Viking representatives posting here so maybe they could shed some light, or any other poster that knows about the matter :D

Cheers

viking makes/made a line of H-D cues. i'm assuming that's where your bumper came from.

I have personal horror story about people who call a bumper a 'butt cap' (:

Dale(who should have asked more questions)

Would you prefer I called it a "butt plug" then :D

Bumper is strongly preferred.

I once re-did a cue for a very good friend and customer because he thought
a bumper was called a butt cap.

Dale(who learned, but slowly)

Great Bumper... I'd love to have it for old times sake.

In the past, we had licensed Harley Davidson Cues offered in our catalog. In fact two models were still in the 2012 catalog as the HD1 and HD2. The bumper was custom molded for those cues... I would suspect that you got was a "bonus" in the form of a misplaced bumper.

Thanks for the response, as other members pointed out that Viking did have HD line, I figured it was a nice free bonus.
