A really screwed up pool forum?

I have tried to join that forum twice now in the last month have not received an E-mail confirmation to activate my account after going through the steps to join. I have used up all my E mail accounts trying. I can't contact an administrator without logging in and can't log in without activating my account.

Does anyone know who's in charge over there and how to get ahold of them?

And just what forum is "that forum" that you are unsuccessfully trying to join?

Speaking of trying to sign up for forums. People keep trying over and over to register accounts to our members only ICA forum without being members of the association. And it is annoying to have to delete dozens of emails a day from people trying to register. We even thought it might be e-bots and set up one of those code boxes and it still did not slow it down. They don't even register real email accounts so I can't ask them to stop.

I know this doesn't help your situation with the other site, but it did make me feel better getting to vent.

Glad you feel better and you have to remember -- in many cases, we're not dealing with people who are playing with a full deck.

Edit: Although Murray is a member here it is not possible to send him a PM because he has a link to a defunct web page in his contact info instead of the PM option.

I guess I will just accept that forum is so screwed up you can't even join it and move on.

The spambots have figured out how to defeat captcha codes. This addon stops them cold, I have a couple of phpBB sites, and it works great.
