movie. I think I have it as a special on my DVD.

Yeah I too have seen this movie more times than I can count and have never seen this scene before. I have the movie on VHS but not on DVD where I'm sure they show the outtakes. This obviously ended up on the cutting room floor when the movie was edited prior to release.

Probably to violent for the general public. Our 8yo watched, what we thought, was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer this Christmas. It was a whole 17 minutes long with everything that SOMEONE thought was OFFENSIVE removed. We found the original version which She thought was much better. Brian.

I saw this as a first run movie…..that broken thumbs part always bothered me….why didn’t he do something about it when he healed?

He had to play with an open bridge after the casts were removed. THAT forced training likely improved his game, since it would probably add an extra level of sighting accuracy on long shots when the shaft wouldn’t need restraining.
