A Simple Acknowledgment

Kudos . . .

to Greg Sullivan and Barry Behrman . . . thanks for all of your dedicated efforts and sacrifice . . . we appreciate what you do for pool!

Nice post Jay!

Ditto. Let the complainers sit in the corner and gripe. These two deserve our thanks.

I'm on the fence with Barry. I ate a chicken fried steak at Q-Masters - once for dinner, and the second time for an early breakfast. :barf: Hillbilly warned me I should wait 'til I get to Texas to try one.

That aside, I think Barry is aces. ;) :thumbup:

And Greg too. Kudos to them. And Kudos to Jay, an icon of the industry who's not afraid to stand up (or were you sitting?) and tell it like it is.

Promoting for any length of time in this difficult industry is out-running some serious nuts.

US Open

I can't thank Barry enough for what he's done with the US Open 9 ball Tournament. I go every year and I can't wait to go this coming year.

Here's a little US Open history from their web site:

Barry Behrman's dream to take 9-Ball, Pool and Billiards to a new level still today becomes a reality as the field stands strong from around the world. Never could have imagined it lasting 34 years and going.

Started in 1976 and Held at Q-Master Billiards in Norfolk VA. Behrman had 15 Players and was praying for a “full field" at that time of 16 and got it at the last moment.

Event Venues:

* Held at Q-Master Billiards, Norfolk VA 1976 – 1983
* Held at Lake Wright Hotel, Norfolk VA 1984
* Held at Q-Master Billiards, Norfolk VA 1985 – 1988
