A unique solution to a difficult position!

Here's a shot I've been demonstrating for over 30 years in Clinics & Exhibitions.

A Very difficult position facing the shooter.

The CB (Yellow ball) is only 2-3 inches from the short cushion, the angle into the 2nd rail has to be 'Manufactured' with Draw!

In the video you can see the CB start to take the effect of the Draw (a curve) about at 2 diamonds in route to score.

BTW, I have a 'System' for these types of shots.

Sweet.

Caudron shoots a similar one here, approx 2:30

The whole vid is FN nutty, including coklu's out at the end.

Of particular note to me is the Sanchez shot (2:44) and I'd love to know your thoughts on it, @mr3cushion.
Looks like tournament, not silicone party. What in the hell?!?!

At 2:44 that's Not Sanchez! It's Roberto Rojas from Mexico, a Very good friend of mine!

It's a 'Force-Follow Ticky'.

I'm familiar with Rojas and should probably push myself In the leg then.

In my defense, I didn't watch that vid for the faces in it!

So it is something he can do in regular tournament conditions? If so, I'd say I gotta try it but that wouldreally just be a waste of chalk.

The shot takes some 'Speed', this how the cushion is 'Compressed' to allow the CB to go through a hole smaller than the OB form the rail!

This is a good exhibition shot. I most always shoot short-short-long into the same ticky solution

Are You the same D. Hansen that is currently playing in 'Jimmy's Billiards' tournament getting a +16-point handicap going to 40 points?

That’s me! Nothing wrong with this solution but it is very sensitive. The long cross table bank from that position can be played without english.

Similar line from a couple years back

In your video the position of the balls allows for a larger margin of error.

Explain yourself.
At the end...there is a long-ball-long-ball.

There's no hole for the 3rd ball in the original shot, while the second one could pass by the 3rd ball (without scoring).

Been a bit since I saw either vid but that's how I recall it.

I rest my case!

Still don't understand your point.
That might make 2 of us...haha.

I was more discussing the perceived difficulty of the shots: your first ball hit was harder and D's third ball hit was harder.

I don't want to have to shoot either for my dinner and im better positioned to score from there than I was before this thread.

Damn balls got my head.
