Looks pretty good.

Sounds like the cue Earl had that day at Table Steaks
Looked like electrical tape hanging off his cue.

For those who would like to try a rubber wrap but don't want the weight or thickness of a typical rubber wrap, here is one that costs about $1 in quantities of 25. I've used these before and they last about a month or two. The length is more like 17 inches when you roll it on the cue. If you grip over a smaller area on the butt I suppose you could cut it in two, which would make it easier to roll on the cue.

I found some on Amazon but the local medical supply store may have them. "Penrose drainage tubing" are the words to use. I think I don't want to know how they are usually used.

The Penrose Drain is used surgically to drain infectious material from wounds. They are not readily available at drug stores but can be obtained at Medical Supply Stores. You might also be able to get a few from a physician. Also try some online sites especially Canadian where you can buy these products easily.
