I'm looking for a A2Z quick change tool post for a taig lathe, A2Z part number is
QCTP1 Seems that A2Z is having problems answering there phone, I have been calling for three days now with no answer, I have tried The little Machine shop as well, They are out of stock and will not have any for at least a month or more, They tell me that A2Z is going through some management problems, Does anyone know where I might try or does anyone have one for sale ?

Good luck

From what I understand . This is what I have been told from three different distributor They have a new owner as of the first of the year, Don't know whats going on there but they are not answering the phone and everone I have called and tried to get one from is out of stock, Please let me know what happened with your online order. Did you get a conformation email ??????

All set now

Dontlitethat the one you show on ebay is not for a taig lathe, I found one thanks for the help.

I don't remember which brand I bought, but it came with a long 10-32 machine screw to fit it the Taig T-slot. It was crap IMO. It didn't feel secure at all.

I replaced the mounting screw with a 3/8-16 screw, that screwed into a plate I put on top of the cross slide.

I don't remember if I exchanged the toolpost or it came with different adapters for the center mounting screw.

This was 10 yrs ago and the lathe is in another state right now so I might be off slightly on a detail. I think I have a picture somewhere, I'm pretty sure I had posted it here years ago.

Here is the thread I started years back with the QCTP. The thread was about something else (controlled drilling), but you can see how I mounted it in the picture. On the aluminum plate, I had holes for the toolpost screw every 1". In all the years I used it, I never once had to move it. This was on a Hightower midsize lathe. I was only using standard turning tools. It might need to move if using live tooling. I was very happy with the toolpost once I modified it to the larger center screw.
