Brandon played great, beating Jerry S. along the way, as well as in the final.
You should have been there. :D

Truth. He beat Lee Holt, Slivka, Manny Chau, Slivka again, one after the other. A tuff row to hoe!

Anyone interested can see the charts on the tour's web site. I'm sure the full story will be posted within the next day or two.

What was the score in the match with Manny Chau?

I looked at the brackets and saw Joe Russo's name.
I wonder if that is Joe Russo who invented the Interlocking Bridge? He would be well into his 70's now. Maybe it's his son. Does anyone know?

The Joe that plays the Planet Pools is 30-40yo, white guy, 250lb...nice and respectful and easy to get along with. His address, licence# and SSN are...

Don't know if that helps!:o  ;)

He lives in the Richmond, Va. area, if that helps.

Oh- here is a pic of the shot that started the winning runout. Brandon pushed, Slivka told him to shoot, Brandon ran out.

Looks like cake if you can put that first jump shot down :p

Congrats to Brandon, and here's hoping I never draw him in the first round of a tournament again.

Now that's what I call a recap. Who needs paragraphs when photos will do?

I was at First Break on Monday and overheard Brandon talking about pushing out to a jump shot, so this must have been what he was referring to. He later demolished my friend 11-1 in a quick 9 ball race. Looking forward to seeing him play at the Open.

Andy and I couldn't believe that Brandon pushed out to that jump shot. There wasn't a lot of extra space to get by the two ball, let alone make the one. Brandon did it with total confidence.
