Doesn't seem to work for my.

It came up fine on my ThinkPad when I got home.
But I couldn't find it on my IPad when I was out.
Maybe I'm just getting the archived version now?

I guess it depends on what time it was..
The uploading glitch made the show about 15 minutes late...the archive was updated about an hour ago..and iTunes will update sometime overnight (we have no control of that )

We are very concerned with quality and availability, so if you guys ever have a problem don't hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for listening, and for your continued support.

I need more info...do you see the audio player near the top of the page, and it won't play?
Or do you not see any audio player?

The timer comes on showing it is running but no sound. One of the others has sound and another also does not. Is there some kind of volume setting I am not seeing?

No, the volume is still mainly controlled by your computers volume...
Could be your browser. Some of the older browser versions do wonky things.
Try a different browser if you have one. (Google chrome, safari etc)
You can also listen on any phone with web access.
Or via itunes, or the Goplaypool app.
If none of these options are available to you, (or don't work) shoot me a pm and I'll explain how to download the whole show to listen to it.

He did! I was laughing outloud because it was while he was talking about Keith too.
LOL

Got Jello?

I have to say that Jimmy was quite humble. I enjoyed the interview. It was endearing to hear him speak about his family with great admiration, affection, and respect.

He has a great voice on the radio, I think. Quite a variety of topics were covered. I didn't know Jimmy was in Baltimore Bullet, either.

Everybody knows who Jimmy Mataya is. For sure, he is a pool legendary player, wherever he goes in this pool world. Keith and I were having dinner with him in Vegas one time at the IPT event. The IPT had a rule that they would allow the players to have a cornerman if they made it to the semifinals. Keith chose Jimmy Mataya to be his cornerman. Unfortunately, though, Keith didn't get that far in the charts.

To show you the amount of respect Jimmy has, at this same dinner, Shawn Putnam and a friend walked into the restaurant and sat at the table next to us. Jimmy was like a one-man show and had Keith and me laughing hysterically. We were in stitches listening to him recount his experience at a recent 14.1 tournament in New Jersey with the rain pouring in through the roof. What a storyteller!

Shawn Putnam motioned for me to draw near, as he wanted to ask me a question in private. I leaned over and he whispered in my ear, "Could you please introduce me to Jimmy?" He had never met him before but wanted to speak to him. That's the kind of attraction Jimmy has, even among his peers.

Here's a photo from that dinner.

He was indeed very humble and surprisingly respectful about some subjects that he has very strong feelings about.
As hard as it must have been, I also respect his decision to bow out rather than fight the system. (Or deal with the frustration) He saw the writing on the wall. Smart man.

I heard a rumor, not sure if it's true, that Jimmy bet a HUGE amount on a long shot to win the entire season, before the season began, and as Jimmy's luck would have it, he won.

I thought it was nice that he apologized for any of his past mistakes or anyone he has upset.
