Sorry but he was selling something. He was a part of the team selling a stream that turned out to not be what it claimed. Whether he knew or not is up to debate (although it seems pretty unlikely he did not). However it is not up to debate that he was a part of selling it.

French did not organize it all by himself. Obviously whomever would stream such an event has to be a part of the organization of it.

Oh my lord, this guy is all about himself. I am not sure of what he has done for the person in the aptmnt but he is going to get his moneys worth from it. The guy makes me sick. He has gone from pool as fast as he came into it and now Mayor of his town?? God help them.

Basically, I think in French's mind, with the stream proceeds and VIP seat revenues, he had a free roll at his 25K being gambled. If Dennis somehow managed to beat Shane, he stood to make a lot. If he lost it was about break even.
