Accu-Rack dissapointment

I bought a set that included basically everything Accu-Rack makes. All of the rack templates, and the training pack for drills and cue ball placement. From what I read, I was excited to get to use the racks and especially the "Table Saver" spots to place the cue ball on for breaking.

Many here extol the virtues of this product and I wonder what I am missing.

First, when I use the circular "Shark Skin Table Saver" pads under the cue ball for breaking, I get a blue stain spot on the cue ball. A stain that is difficult to remove. I contacted the owner about 5 times. He quickly responded and explained that it was a heat setting problem, that the problem has been corrected, and he would replace my set. After 4 attempts to remind him, and multiple promises that he would replace them, it's been months and no response. For this reason alone, I would not do business with him moving forward.

Second, and perhaps this is something I am not doing right? The racks break like duds. With a brand new, fresh out of the box, set of Predator Arcos II balls, in my old traditional wooden rack, the balls jump apart like they have been blasted by dynamite. When I use the Accu-Rack , and look with great care, and see clearly that all the balls are touching and the rack is tight, a very solid break stroke sends the outer balls flying, but the 8, and center balls, rarely move beyond even the edges of the rack. The 8, in particular, almost never moves at all. Again, maybe this is user error, but I know what a tight rack looks like and the Accu-Rack, with all balls gently pressed forward, produces an incredibly consistent tight rack. I can't really understand why it plays like a dud rack where the balls are not properly touching.

There are so many here who speak highly of template racks. What am I missing.
The accu-rack has a top and bottom since it's a triangle it can be easy to rack the wrong way. Double check and make sure your topside up with the racking center circle on your table.

I use an Accu-Rack and it has been really awesome so are. Balls consistently roll into and stay in place when racking and when I break, I get a nice crisp crack every time and the center ball stays unless another ball hits it.

Perma-rack:

It's hands-down the best racking system I've ever used. I don't know why people are so hesitant to try it, but I shill for it wherever I can.

You won't be taking it with you to setup at a pool hall/bar. For home use I don't think I would want those things stuck on the table full time unless I'm doing drills and using it to mark the position of the balls. It's a decent enough idea but having a permanent stuck paper in such a large amount on the table will cause issues much more than the magic rack that can be removed after the break. Slow rolling balls will be redirected into the holes or between the dots. I don't see any benefit to this over anything else available and several drawbacks.

It has essentially no impact, they cause no more roll-off than the divots of a properly trained table. I agree that you can't pack it to the bar, but there's no downside for a home table. I'm just a huge fan. After my table, I think it's my best pool related purchase ever.

Edit: For context, I have played literally thousands of games of straight pool on my table using this system. Straight pool has a LOT of light weight shots taking place in the rack area. If the donuts caused issues I'd be the first to ditch them. They don't. I have no affiliation with this product other than the fact that it's made by another AZBer and that I like to see our members succeed.

I do have a bunch of those stick on dots for drills, I'll try it out as a rack, but just don't see any benefit at vs just a template rack you remove, aside from maybe have a very effective straight pool setup where the rack does not get in the way of any ball and you can get a tight rack there without the template left behind during the run. Also for one pocket, I would bet most if not all one pocket players would not want to have a super tight rack there vs one with a bit of a variable due to how things open up.

I have both accu rack and magic racks. I usually get similar results from either. I however haven’t had the best of luck with the other outsville products. I get the same marks from the shark skin pads and absolutely horrible luck with the new hammerhead break tips lol

I know little about Amazon, don’t by from Jeff Bozo.
⬆️

Copies and pastes Amazon link like he has some kind of useful input...then when informed input is useless, says he knows little.

We know you know little. It is a constant source of entertainment.

Say the guy who contributes zero.🐂💩
Since you are a documented stupid, I'll let you know you can use the search function to see all my posts, which will prove your claim false.

I've given away almost as many pool tables to Azb people as items you've obtained under the guise of donations for charities, yet you actuallly sold the donations for personal gain.

A telling comparison, WOW!
