Efren vs. Nick Varner from the '99 Derby City, and I'll second the Efren-Buddy match from the Legends tournament.
There a couple of matches from DCC with Shannon Daulton, also Legends of 1pocket IV, against Daulton, that are mind blowing.
The semi-finals and finals of the '06 and '07 DCC for sure.
You wont find any accustat tournament matches of Effie before LO1P IV. That legends 4 tourny was the first time they got him on tape playing 1p in a tournament. The earliest accustat I have of him is probably in the top 3..its the gambling match of effie v grady playing race to 4 for the cheese. Maybe 1991 from the Willards tournament is what I was told. Efren wins 4-3 and i still get a big kick out of how in this one game Efren is all the way up table and Grady has like 6 or 7 balls down all around his hole. Efren goes into the balls and a whole bunch move and the cueball comes to rest near Gradys pocket and Grady has no shot. Grady gets up saying loudly, "well thats the greatest shot ive ever seen" or something like that. To Grady's credit, he plays with alot of heart this match.
I think that the finals from the 2007 Derby City with Efren playing Cliff was probably the most enjoyable one pocket match I have ever watched. The first game alone is worth the price of the DVD. At one point Danny DiLiberto says 'This is the strangest game I have ever seen'. This is because the game went uptable and then about half an hour after that all of the balls were back down table and the score was still only something like 1-0. The moves made in this game on both sides of the ball will teach you more about one pocket strategy than is in most of the books and DVDs on the market.
The whole match was excellent because it essentially proved that Cliffs best is just a hair short of Efren's and Cliff was gentlemanly enough to admit it at the end. Every game was a battle and Cliff usually made the first mistake; not because he blundered but rather because Efren put him in no-win situations. Just superb play by both.

One of our AZB'ers who helps Greg run the DCC says that the Efren-Pagulayan match from this year (2008) was one of the best ever. Alex wins; but both play in stunning fashion.
