Would love to see some of the 1P specialists in the mix.
 
I'd vote for Justin Bergman. There's a good chance he will be on the Mosconi Cup team in December and I'd like to see a fresh face at this event.

I agree about Justin Bergman. I love the way he moves around the table...so smoothly...like a young Mosconi. His play is consistent and his demeanor is perfect for a Make-It-Happen Event.

I'd also have to vote for Reyes because he performed so poorly on the Diamond 10 foot table two years ago in the 8-Ball Make-It-Happen event.
I believe he lost every match. Efren was embarrassed with his play.
I think he deserves a chance to perform his magic on a regulation 9 foot Diamond.
Plus, I just don't know how many more times I'll get to see him in person.

My third vote would be for Alex, just because he's so good and so entertaining.
He livens things up a bit when everyone gets too damn serious.
 
Doesn't matter to me, they will all be great players.

Although I really wish it wasn't strictly round robin.
 
I have given money for 3 Make It Happen. I think the money is coming from basically American fans. I personally would like to see more Americans players involved if so. If Corey and Shane are the only 2 I wont invest. American players dont have enough opportunites particularly in the National Events. Right now the US open is one of the few national events with a nice prize money that does not exclude anyone. How can we expect any American team to win a Mosconi Cup if they dont have opportunities like the Euros and Asians have in their nations events.
I want to see Rodney Morris, Oscar Dominguez, Mike Dechaine, Johnny Archer, John Schmidt, etc. Maybe they arent appealing to the youth like Mika, Daz, Neils, or Hohmann but its my money on this one and thats my option.
Maybe Pat should be asking the Europeans and Asians to invest as well.

As usual I do appreciate you opinion but I tend to think of the Accu-Stats Invitationals on par with any of the world tournaments based on the players that participate... With that said Bustemante would not be in my field but he is a hall of famer and still playing at a level where I would take him over any of your US picks but maybe Dechaine if Mike keeps all 4 wheels on......

Corey should be on the short list if you want US players so we agree there....

Skyler has been on fire so there is another pick but we don't know how well he plays 8ball..... Earl... No Earl on your list??? your picks are weeker than those 2 as far as how I measure things currently but thats why we will be having people vote.... We all have opinions....

I want Niels simply because he is on the verge of breaking into the elite ranks that he has been bumping up against for the last 2 years...

Mika... Pass this year... He may change my mind in October....
Ralf.... Love Ralf but pass this year..... The CSI thing is troublesome
Orcollo... He Has my vote....


So.... I want Shane, Darren, Buste, Corey, Niels and Orcollo... I would be fine with the fans voting in Skyler and Earl instead Corey and Orcollo.....

I am ok with none of your list making it but I am sure you would be ok if Skyler, Earl, Niels and Dennis didn't make it from mine.....

I voted for Efren(because he will always be the best in my mind), Alex (because he always brings a lot of fun to the table), and Corey (because he won me $1000 in one of the Make it Happens in the past :) )

If I could have picked 4, I would have put Earl on the list, he can be a hoot. :)

I would love to see Efren back because the last 8ball was on the 10ft when the Philippiines were under at least that much water and you could tell he was distracted..... The little monster... HAhaha if Alex WANTS to play... Noone has to beat him..... Corey... Always has an angle... and if we don't have Delta13 in bed by the event I may pay Pat to use the Accu-Rack templates.....
 
Just a reminder we are getting CLOSER!!!! Not sure if Pat has done the mailings or not but start thinking about who should be on the short list..... IF Shaw beats SVB in the race to 100 10ball you think he will get some votes into the 8Ball Round Robin????
