My thoughts. I bought the full week.
1. The first two days was the worst stream I have ever purchased. Don't tell me I'll get a free something. I purchased this to see it in real time. I never did DVR sports events. I was pretty angry when the SVB stream was down more than up.
2. They had the same problem last year and didn't fix the problem. Outright poor planning by Pat's team. They didn't have an alternate plan which was available. Their Buying new equipment that FIXED the problem proves this.
3. They admitted that it was their problem and I agree the new equipment DID fix the problem. Why not come in with new equipment in the first place. This actual made me more furious when they admitted that their equipment fixed the problem. It wasn't someone else's fault. So they had control of the situation.
4. They continued to sell admission to the first 2 days even though the stream was not watchable. Which put additional loads on a already overloaded system which now made it even worse for all. Is that the SELL IT AND THEN I'LL THEN BUILD IT attitude.
5. A bad product or service is just that. For those of you who don't care that's your choice. I hope you also don't care if you food comes ice cold at a restaurant (the restaurant opened that day with a broken stove and microwave) and the restaurant refuses to warm it up (because they can't) and then also refuses to give you your money back.
6. A poster above that claims they are giving refunds is NOT posted on their web page. If this IS TRUE or Not I have no idea. This is the second time I have seen a similar post. Do I now have to hunt around to find this or is this just a false post. If it is false and AZ didn't remove it. Shame on you AZ. Which leads into # 7
7. Some posters on here kept posting the stream was just fine the first two days and now its fixed (worked for 5 minutes) even though it wasn't the first two days and they kept re-posting it was NOW fixed. They were outright deceiving people and future potential buyers. Again. SHAME on those posters. People's frustrations were trying to figure out if it was their own PC problems or a Accustats problem. It should be common courtesy to post somewhere that they have problems. (Their HOME page being obvious place) Letting people scrambling to fix their OWN PC's only to find out that its AccuStats problem only increases the frustrations and angers. Take it from someone who's been in IT for 30 years. Its also OK with me to be notified that I'll get it fixed when its fixed as I know you can't give time estimates in the PC world. Just let me know its your problem and not mine. I'm a big boy and can handle it. Might not like it but I can handle it. Just let me know when its fixed.
8. For me there is a pretty easy fix to all of this.
Own up to the problem. Which Accu-Stats has done.
Refund the money. But give the people a choice. Don't give them a CD and say this is acceptable compensation. A discount coupon to be used ANYTIME in the future would also be acceptable.
Post the information where people can find it.
Update: You are having problems with your BETA html not working. Why not just disable it on your settings page. KISS
