Action at the Open

On top of that they're both (Burns and Chohan) from Northern California, making it a lot easier for Chohan to collect later on if Burns didn't make good while at the Open.

Kwilson,

Totally ignorant statement on your part.

Business being done? When will people learn?

I'd like to hear what you base someone losing one night and winning the next night on.
Apparently you have no clue. and what base do i have someone losing one night and winning the next well how about 16years of watching and learning. i spent 1 year trying to do what these guys do.i didnt have the heart to do someone like that. trust me i know what i am talking about. i rode with pete horne, mark tadd, shannon fitch, tony watson,.i have been there seen that.

Richard Burns is his real name... he's full of beeswax 24/7. He's who got me playing pool. Plays pretty good for a fat indian- so i couldn't stop playing until I could spank him. He's a little short on money sometimes, but not on laughs. Had some fun trips with him, but one funny thing that stands out, is his inability to play pool with a hot chick around, and the inevitable comment that he will make about them. One day a friend and I were getting ready for a tournament, and a girl came in that was a little top-heavy. We both looked at each other, and said "good thing Richard isn't here!", since he would notice something like that, and make a comment. Five minutes later, in walks Richard. My friend almost fainted over a shot when Richard took one look at the top heavy girl, yells out as loud as he can in that high pitched voice.. "GOT MILK!!!?" LOL.. always a character, so I put up with the bullshit.

Nobody questions whether you've seen it or if it exists. The point is were you or was someone you know in on it? Were you there? Are you a pool detective?

i was there.no i am not a detective. i was not in on it.but you know how can i judge someone when i do the same thing wether it is laying down a little bit to get someone to bet it up a little. i believe i have become the person i have despised in years past. thanks everyone involved for a reality check.

i am sure that business was done like always when 2 road players meet there is a lil worm in the water just waiting on the side bets.just like ussery ran into. you know i also watch kiamco give lil'stevie the 8 @wilmington and the same thing happened lil'stevie won the first night very easily and the next night when all the side bets got right kiamco ran right through him.when are people gonna learn.

I lost $200 betting on Warren the first night when he gave Tony the 7 in an 8-ahead session. The next night I won $500 betting on Warren when he spotted Tony the 8 in a 9-ahead session. Warren wasn't feeling well the first night and played below his best. He was feeling a little better the second night and was able to take it off. He's a heck of a player and very low key. I assure you, there was no business done either night...but I know what you mean...it seems nearly every year there is someone doing something at this event to catch unwary side bettors or backers.

Jerry a/k/a "The Toe" was asking around about Richard Burns, wanting to know how he could match up. He was advised that he maybe needed the 7-ball, but that Jerry may have a slight edge. Keith hadn't had a lick of action during the whole Open because JAM wanted to make sure he didn't stay up all night and then not be able to perform for the tournament. So Keith decided to take a piece of Jerry's action for a friendly sweat bet, just a jellybean or two.

The Toe and Rolling Thunder found themselves a bar box at Q-Masters and started battling it out. Racing to 11, Richard Burns went ahead 7-zip within a few minutes, and Jerry looked like he couldn't swallow a beebee. :D

Funny story, sounds just like Jery, lol. Hey, Jerry Bento always told me he was called "The Rooster", just curious, how the hell does he get "The Toe" as a nic?
