Most of the times your responses are funny, if somewhat acerbic. This response to JoeyA was too little of the former, and too much of the latter.

Is there some history here? I know you spent a lot of time down in Looz-E-Anna before you "quit playing pool". Did our erstwhile associate JoeyA have anything to do with you no longer gambling on pool?

It was said tongue-in-cheek and meant to be funny. Joey A. is a VERY good friend. I quit playing pool due to health issues, now go stir some other pot......

I had some people leave me messages at the pool room about this game and honestly I havent talked to Richie since the last time we played about 6months ago. If Richie was in the area you can get word to him that I will play him some 9ball for like 100 a game for a couple of days if he wants to come play. Ljon
 
Oh, Well

A friend of mine said that the owner of the poolroom (Ricky Byrd, I assumed) in Mobile (Breakers, I assumed) was backing Richie Rich for 10K against Lil Jon playing a 12 ahead match. I kept trying to get an update on the match, without success. My friend tried to contact Richie once again by cellphone and couldn't get an answer from Richie for five days straight and eventually just gave up. I guess that it was all a misunderstanding or empty woofing or wishful thinking. You know how things are in the world of pool. Sorry for any confusion.....
