I am pretty sure if the wrap is removed you will discover it is a full splice butt. Some of those older Adams cues played real nice. Those early Adam cues had some nice points for sure. I’ve seen quite a few over the years.
Nice stick.
It's 57.5" and the whole cue looks like it wasn't played much. I don't believe it's a classic, that Lion icon is smaller with the word Adam written under it. I agree with the people saying it's late 70s. ThanksI know that Adam has a line called Adam Classic that has a lot of the same features that this model does.
that is a mighty bright pilot for being 40 years old.
Question on Newly Acquired Adam Cue
I acquired this Adam cue today. It has never hit a ball. I was told that it was new old stock purchased many years ago by the seller. I am not familiar with the logo on an Adam cue that has the word CLASSIC under the logo. The cue is straight, solid, and it is an eight pointer (Hi/ Low) The...forums.azbilliards.com

The black wrap is seperating, you can see the splices! Thanks!I am pretty sure if the wrap is removed you will discover it is a full splice butt. Some of those older Adams cues played real nice.
Thanks!Doesn’t look like it’s been screwed together many times. Pilot looks pretty new. Cue looks like late 70’s to me. It’s pretty rare to find a cue that old with low mileage. Nice pole

I had one myself about 1979 I got used, the stainless steel butt and shaft joints are unique to that model I believe. Jayman says it's an "FG" model.I used to own a cue just like that one. I'd guess it is in the 1975-78 range for when it was made.
