Living in Japan I have things shipped over here all the time and I ship things there all the time. More often than not the tracking number doesn't bring anything up when you type it in. Pick up, mind you, not delivery. I checked that damn page 3 to 5 times a day wondering where my cue was. It showed up at my door a few days later. In return, I sent money to the US recently and of course I had a tracking number on it. Every step of the way in Japan was on the tracking page and once it hit the shores of the good 'ol US of A the tracking went dead. The only confirmation I had of that envelope was when the person I sent it to wrote me and told me it had arrived safely.
I'm not defending anyone here, this has absolutely nothing to do with me, all I'm saying is don't base your actions on the tracking number not working. The US Post Office tracking system is a worthless POS.

Don't worry Mully, no one is concerned with the USPS. This guy took a whole month before he mailed the cue, so the rest of the "delays" were expected, if you know what I mean.

First off, if I was trying to get one over on everyone here don't you think I would have just deleted AZ off my favorites list and not sat here trying to defend myself... Second I am telling you what the guy at the post office told me, thats all, if anyone got a different response the cue was shipped from the post office located at 10865 Cross Creek Blvd Tampa, FL 33647-4033 its a sub office for the post office. As i stated before I thought the item was shipped prior to me even recieving the money and because of me being out of town and trying to move at the same time i wasn't even aware of the issue till the 30th of May. I spoke with Courtney that day apologised profusley and explained the situation. I tried for the following week to get a hold of the person I left to ship the cue for me I got back in town that following Monday and drove down to Naples, picked the cue up and drove back. I ended up having to go back out of town first thing Tuesday morning so I asked my mother to drop the cue off at the post office up the road because I was rushing to the airport. She brought it up there Tuesday evening at around 4 and gave them the box. The following day Courtney let me know that the tracking number didn't work(as I have come to find out she didnt get the right thing, got a confirmation number not a tracking number) so I had her take a picture of that and that is when I posted it on here. As I have said countless times before I am deeply sorry that things did not work out well but that is the story behind it. You can choose to believe it or you can choose not too, either way it is obvious there is nothing I can do at this point to change anyones opinion.

Friday 05/30/2008 My friend James Roberts gave Courtney my cell phone number and he called me and left me a message, within a few hours I returned his call.
Saturday 05/31/2008 - Friday 06/06/2008 I attempted several times to contact my friend in Naples finally getting through to him Friday night.
Monday 06/09/2008 I returned to Tampa left that evening and drove to Naples, picked up the cue and drove back to Tampa.
Tuesday 06/10/2008 I had to leave first thing in the morning so I left the cue with my mother to ship which she did at roughly 4pm. They notified her that because last pickup at that location was at 3:30pm the box would be stamped for the following days pickup. That night I recieved the thought to be tracking number from my Mother and gave it to Courtney and posted it on here.
Wednesday 06/12/2008 Courtney notified me that the tracking number was not working and I looked into it myself and the USPS site was down. I then called and was told that there would be no information untill the item reached the delivering post office, I then followed up by posting that information on here.
Wednesday 06/18/2008 I called the post office again and spoke with another agent and he told me that he saw were the item was recieved and that he expects delivery either today or tomorrow 06/19/2008 and if for any reason it is not there by Friday 06/20/2008 that I need to call back and they will start an inquery.
Thats everything.

Well, for what it's worth, I believe you. But, I will say that with something like this, even if you're moving, *YOU* should have taken the cue to the post office yourself from the very beginning. Never ever rely on a friend to take care of something. No matter how much you trust that person you are only setting yourself up to be let down, unless that person works at the post office and offers to take it to work with them. Even then I wouldn't chance it. You shouldn't even trust your mom. Mom's always fukk things up. Case in point, you asked for a tracking number and she gets a delivery confirmation number. My mom has done the exact same thing. God love 'em, they're our mothers, but they're basically useless when it comes to things like this.

Let me also say to the buyer, if the cue shows up tomorrow or the next day as he said it would I would hope that you would take a second before firing off a negative on his iTrader rating. Put yourself in his shoes. I think if he was trying to screw you he wouldn't even be around here taking all the shit he's taking. If he did screw you and stayed here he'd have to be one of the dumbest motherfu::ers on this planet. I seriously think he is a victim of circumstance.....bad circumstance, in that he meant well but got it all screwed up. Wanna paste him with a neutral, sure, even if it shows up today he deserves a neutral. I just wouldn't get all fired up on the neg ratings though without looking at it objectively first. But hey, that's just me. You are free to do what you want with this situation, I'm only giving you something to think about before you do it. If it turns out he was screwing you, yeah, take the nails to him. But we've all had situations that didn't work out great that weren't entirely our fault or were because of bad judgement on our part....like expecting a friend to go to the post office for you.

I honestly have not had a chance to play much recently, I was very much hoping to be in cape coral this weekend to play in the seminole tour but unfortunatly I am not going to be able to make it. The closest pool hall to me is Peabodys in Tampa but from time to time I make my way up to Capones, Hammerheads or Balukas. If your in town and you see me feel free and say something to me, I don't mind. I understand that this all went screwy and I am to blame for that but it is what it is.

Put the shoe on the other foot for a moment and say:
The deal was made on a Monday, you sent the cue the next day and Courtney received it on Thursday..
Then, Courtney left the money with a friend and left town for a month. He came back to find the money wasn't sent and he couldn't reach 'his friend' for SIX DAYS by phone.
He goes down Naples and picks up the money, but doesn't send it to you, he gives it to someone ELSE to send to you and disappears for another week and you still don't receive it. 38 days later, still no money and if it doesn't arrive 'soon' there will be an INQUIRY into it's whereabouts and you still haven't been paid for the cue that you promptly sent out on THE FIRST DAY.
