Adam Savage - Mythbusters Fame - Pool Player

I have been playing pool for at least 20 years, and I have never heard of or played the game described as "15".
So even if I knew the straight pool record, I have learned a new game. And a pretty good one at that! I can't wait to see how many fifteens I can get consecutively. Seems like a good drill.

It's more commonly known as Cribbage.

For someone who specifically claims to have read every book on pool, I would expect him to come at least close to guessing the number of the most famous record of the game. And I ACTUALLY read almost every book in pool. Own most all the major instructional books created, and I hung out with a guy that wrote a few of the BEST pool books ever.

Did I actually retain every thing I read, NOPE. I read them over and over hoping one day I will, but not yet.

He's just an excitable type of guy, have you ever watched the show. He loves pool, he certainly never came across as cocky on the show, he just enjoys what he does including his hobbies.

Man, what's next, pool players tell 8 year old there is NO SANTA ;)

well, to be fair, it's only about 1/3 that suck, the rest of us like the story. We don't read stuff to find the "errors" but to find the enjoyment.

Cribbage (15) is a pretty cool game actually. It can also be played with matching colors instead of adding the numbers.
