Adams cue, butterfly and 4 points

Selling for a friend. Light marks on butt cap, very light usage. White is nonivory, 1 shaft (12.95mm, 4.o ounce, 29 1/4 inches, looks to have a yellowed micarta ferrule). Small bumper, has j/ps, rolls flat, flat faced joint, 5/16-18 pin, cross on forearm below joint (Per Adams). Butterfly between points and on butt sleeve. Curly maple forearm, veneers at points are blk, red and green. White inlays in points and butt sleeve. Points/butt sleeve look to be ebony. White stitch rings in butt sleeve, below points and joint. White butt cap. Cue section is 15.0 ounces and 28 3/4 inches long. There is a small dent in the butt sleeve. Adams stated cue made in mid 90's for a female pro player, she wanted a cross placed on the forearm dealing with this series of cue, unknown to me how many of this model was made.
White with brown speck wrap. Owner wants $400.00 (or best offer) plus shipping and paypal if used.

Wow I have not seen one of these Model Helmstetter cues in a very very long time. The cue was part of series of cues made using a female players name, which I can't remember at the moment.

There were only a limited number of these cues made and if everything is straight together and apart the price you are asking is more than fair.

Nice looking cue. The upper end Adams cues are underrated and under valued. Although more and more collectors are showing interest because of their history with Helmstetter. Because of this, Adams seems to be one of the best cuemakers to invest in.
