Adhesives for Cushion Facing???

Hello, I have been experimenting with different adhesives for cushion facing but haven't been able to get a great bond like some of the new tables. I have tried contact cemet and white glue. I not sure if its the adhesive that I'm using or the clamping system to hold the facing in place while the glue dries.

Yes, it's the strongest contact cement on the market. Call 3M, they'll tell you where you can find it in your area, they're world wide.

Dartman, I recently purchase the scotchgrip adhesive from you. The lid says "non-reusable". Does this mean once the lid comes off, it won't go back on? otherwise is this the same as contact cemet?

You sure that lid don't say "not for resale"...LOL Yes, the glue is contact cement, and is re-useable, but...being in a hot environment like you are...listen to me, go to Wal-Mart and get you some 1 qt jars with screw on lids, pour the glue in them 3/4 full, and screw the lids on tight. Once you open that can of glue, I don't care what you do, unless you use it all right away, in the heat it's going to dry up, and turn into buggars and snot...LMAO

3M-10 is an industrial adhesive. It should be marked not for retail sale. I wasn't aware of a non-reusable marking.

That is just the white plastic ring that holds the lid on the can when it is new, that is not reuseable. As far as buying it in California, good luck. The EPA has it so you can not buy it in California. You have to buy it out of state and have it shipped in.
