All the drugs came up/thru that peninsula for many years.
Most of the pot came via the Bahamas, then the white stuff showed up.
Everyone was up/awake too often.
Scamming became the new norm.
One of the Bahama islands in the Exumas, you can still see a few planes in the water, that missed the runway.
I visited a good friend about 5 years back in Tampa, then visited his other friend of his in Miami, who was also a past good friend.
Both Coke heads.
There weren't back in the day, living in the Midwest.
Once I realied that.
Left immediately.
Never called either of em, or cared to after that.
