Advice on anything I may need to change!

Neil, I will definitely do that. I believe having Stan look at me, and be able to break down exactly what I need to change will be great for my game. And I am a big believer in practicing whatever helps me get better. I just want to get the most out of his teaching that I can. Even if it means breaking me down, and starting from scratch!

You picked an excellent instructor in Stan, I'm sure he'll get you sorted out.

Just try real hard to avoid "starting from scratch". :p

Good luck with your game.

Best,

I think you have a great ability of making balls. An you are showing that you are willing an able to handle criticism. With taking pro. lessons an just beings on here shows your desire. Good for you. The only piece of advice I can give you is watch your weight, your to young to get belly hooked. Some super great players, Hall the Miz. an others. As silly as this may sound stay away from the double cheese buger @ fries.

This is me the other night just breaking a rack of 9ball, and running out. If you see anything I could work on better, I am open to input!

You move your body just as you shoot. Stop that.

Practice by keeping your head still as you shoot and a little after you shoot.
It will be difficult because you have built up a rhythm that works for you but it won't stand up under pressure.

Remember most missed shots result from head movement.

If the most important thing to you is having fun and winning money or tournaments isn't a big deal to you then keep playing fast and loose without thinking or planning too much.

The best advice I can give is watch as many pro matches as you can and watch the way they play position. There is a right side and a wrong side on most shots in nine ball. Either side will work but the incorrect side makes position on the next shot twice as hard and will get you out of line.

It's often very easy to get on the correct side but you have to stop and figure out which side of the straight in line is correct. Watching the pros will make figuring this out easier.
