Age survey

Firstly, how old are you?

Secondly, what is the average age of a pool player? There must be one, right?

I'm guessing 48 and rising fast.

You forgot to start off your survey with your age.
I will be turning 80 in April. I look pretty good for my age don't I?

Oops, I mean I feel like I'm 80 some days.
Actually 53.

What did you say the average might be?

I'm 48, at least for a few more months.

In our city, the estimate of 35 to 45 is pretty close for league play.

I would change that to 35 to early 50s around these parts.

I am currently 48 and will be 49 in a few months. As far as age and pool I have always felt that pool is the perfect avenue for senior citizens to keep their minds and bodies active, including wheelchair bound seniors. Anyhow, with this mind set I still have hope of turning pro when I retire:D

I'm 85 and my game is as good as it ever was, but it never was very good. My high run is 29 and that's from about 35 years ago. However, I ran 28 twice last year, once in a match and once in practice. I can't practice very long at a time. 30 minutes and I'm pretty tired.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to get on the phone and see if I can find a game for this afternoon.
