I've been playing about 35 years on and off. I grew up with a GCI at home, and I'm 41 playing my best right now. The old guys at the pool room used to say you hit your peak between 35 and 50, then by 60 you slip a little. I guess it's different for everyone.
I couldn't imagine trying to be a Pro. As a business model it sux! having to be at your best and finish relatively high just to break even is not a good business model. Take out the love for the game, and NOBODY would go into Pro Pool!!! IMO.
I'm just glad that I still love the game, and still yell at the guy driving too slow in front of me on the way to the pool room!!!.....come on MAN! I'm trying to go play pool!!!!
