What is wrong with our coaches including myself...We should realize what this sport is looking for in coaching...AAIIMMIINNGG...

In the past week I have received thirty five e-mails from all over the world , including two from the Phllippines begging for help...And i`am going to help everyone of them...

The most basic thing you need to first know, is how to pocket a ball...You have to learn how to roll that little ball in the hole otherwise you can`t play this game.
Beside the mechanical basics there are three that we don`t talk much about...,In order aiming, diamond systems and banking...
If you do not know these things you will never be a good player...and i`am not kidding...

You know i just looked at my watch and it`s 3am and i think you get the point...happy hunting

Ron, you are 110% CORRECT!!!! Will definetly give you a call soon for a lesson.

Well, first you have to know and understand geometry. Angels and directions are a must. Then you will have to understand English and I don't mean the language. If you really want to understand the rails, play Carom and 3 Coushin Carom before you play 8 or 9 ball. It will make you a better player, such greats as Efren did so.

Follow through with the stroke completely, this is an important factor sometimes people forget.

Those are general ideas and the most important thing is Practice Practice. Shooting billiards is like basketball, Jordan,Reggie Miller, and Kobe do not have the same techniques on shooting the ball and they use which ever method that is confortable to them. You just have to practice and keep manipulating your "style." And "Aiming" will become so instintive when you're in the zone, you will just understand and "know" where the pockets are and where the "hoop" is. The pockets and hoop never move~ Remember that.

I met up with RonV last night and he went over some aiming with me. I was blown away how easy his system is. He showed me some kicking and banking systems that were also amazing. He was also a very nice guy who was eager to teach me for about an hour.... for free.

ron spoke on the phone with me talking about systems and the game. he certainly knows what he's talking about. the best part is his phone lessons are FREE! how can you beat that. he offered me to come for a lesson in NYC. at no cost to me if i am not happy with the lesson. thanks Ron :thumbup:
