Alex Brick Cues

I believe that he has closed up shop.
I have a plain jane and a friend of mine has a sneaky.
Very stiff hit...which I like.

He currently runs the Pro Shop at J.O.B. Billiards in Nashville TN. He told me recently that he doesn't have much time to make cues anymore. I'm sure he'd be glad to talk to you. Give him a call. He's a nice guy. As far as his cues go, I've seen some of them go for 1,000.00 or more on ebay so they must be good cues. I've never played with one.

I have one of Alex's sneaky pete JB's and a nice 4 point with ivory inlays, and while I admit I'm not one of the guys who likes to collect cues, I probably won't ever purchase another cue for playing. He builds a great cue and doesn't try to empty your wallet. You should definitely give him a call.

> His cues are specifically patterned after vintage Kersenbrocks/SouthWests,in that he told me himself that his taper bars were set up to match an old plain birdseye Kersenbrock,aesthetically NO one can claim he copies their designs,his ring work is pretty distinctive. The hit is real similar,pretty stiff yet crisp with decent tips on them,and most of them are weighted/balanced similar to a typical SW. There are a LOT of people in Memphis and the surrounding area that replaced their Schons,Omegas,McDaniels,and Cogs to play with them. One of his most popular cues were Dymondwood fronted cues he made just before moving to Nashville,only saw them in the cocobolo looking stuff,black rings,and killer hit. Tommy D.
