Apparently he has only shown up in Canada for a Stan James Tour tournament. This may not be the definitive answer

All,
First, the Canadian Tour is the same tour as the one last year and the year before that was called the Stan James tour. Jim Wych and Mike Wright are still running the show but with a boatload of new sponsors so they now just call it the Canadian 9-Ball Tour.
Yes, Alex plays in their events when he is in the country. I believe he played in two of them last year.
Americans can now play in these events. $10,000 added at each stop.
