I think he stands on it when racking the balls...and sits on it while driving.

He's one of my favorite players. I wish we could see videos of matches when the pros are free to woof, comment and come close to shark. You know, play like we do with our friends. There was a youtube of Alex in a "fun" match and he was an absolute hoot; great sense of humor.
 
Ha where can I get me one of those? Almost as bad as players that use a chalk "purse" clipped to their belt... :)
 
Money bags?

One thing I hate most is having anything other than a wad of cash in my pocket when shooting pool. Anything else like wallets, phones, keys, tip shapers and even small change can be annoying and interfere with execution. Personally, I don't carry a separate bag for these items but I do keep them in my cue case accessory pouch. Hope this is helpful!:eek:

It's a man purse. Quite the trend in Europe. Americans? Not so much.

I remember as a child in 1948, watching schoolyard bullies making fun of the kids who talked, walked, or dressed in a way that they thought was "like a girl".

I outgrew this stuff in the '60s. It saddens me that guys still make childish, sexist jokes about how people appear to them. Most of them not even realizing that it reveals how they view women.

I sometimes use a women's purse that someone was throwing away, to carry my camera and pool stuff, when I teach. It's very functional...has four compartments that zip up and carries nicely over the shoulder. I have to ignore comments every time, but I've learned to accept the sexism and all other negative ISMs in human culture.

I got so tired of these ISMs that I actually put some effort over many years to study their origins and evolution, and wrote a few books about how we might finally get rid of them.

These are mostly referred to as messenger bags, I have been to a large cities outside of the American borders, I seen many men carrying shoulder bags/whatever u want to call it... There is many reasons not to carry a back-pack in over populated areas.
I aquired a shoulder bag many years ago while traveling from Mexico City down to Oaxaca in 1994-95. ask Alex how much he paid for that bag here's carrying around, you'd be shocked of the price if its a designer bag, my bag was made by a starving artist making bags in a street front beat down hut.

Don't be afraid to say hello to Alex-ask him to do some trick shots, I bet he pulls some off that you might have never seen before.

he had one at this years DCC. Some were ribbing him about it, he just went with it. Didn't seem to bother him. :)
