Alex & SVB Score Thread

thats good of shane to keep the score close for the sake of TAR. Help them sell tickets for day 3. Compared to his TAR matches with Cory and strickland a 10 game lead coming down the stretch would be a nail-biter!

yeah.. it'll be pretty nice of alex to actually let shane win one for a change... poor guy has almost gone broke the way alex has been beating up on him for the past few months... :p

race to 100 for the big $$$is the future!!! The rolls should even out over that time and the better man will win.

Alex made a great masse, 4 rail safe on the other side of the table. Shane missed the ball and Alex has ball in hand, but almost got bad right away. He looks ok now.

Yeah, I am sure that is what Shane is thinking. Let me "keep it close" against a World Champion and US Open winner who just won a major event the day before.

It's not like Alex hasn't laid down multi packs before.

I am pretty sure Shane is thinking about winning every game and beating Alex 100 - 0 if he can.

I get the feeling that it's a point of pride for Shane to have a truly decisive margin of victory. While he won the sets at Derby he knows that he didn't BEAT Alex because it was so close that it could have gone either way.

I think Shane wants to win by the largest margin that he can to drive home the point about who the best player is. Think about how fearsome that makes him in all future match-ups and tournaments.

Besides that what kind of nits didn't just buy the feed for the whole three days ??? Just kidding - I am one of them but only because I have no time to watch it even if I could get the feed. I wish there was a way to pay for UStream because I get that feed nearly prefectly but the AudioVideo Web feed doesn't get there for me and I can't figure out why. Day 2 of Scott/Darren went awesome for about one hour and then it was gone.

Anyway thanks for the updates for those of you providing them.

Alex made a GREAT shot on the eight. Maybe not the smartest on a tight pocket, but he made it. 68-58!

Thanks Joe. I actually sent you rep earlier for your nice pics of the tournament. I have to work tomorrow during the finish of the match.

Alex runs out. 69-59. Dry breaks but doesn't leave a shot. Shane pushes-has to kick. Alex has a shot.

Alex gets out.......again. Worst Alex could do is be down ten going into the final day. That is huge given where he was at a few hours ago-down 22 games at one point. 69-60!
