Alex vs. Archer updates

2-1 JA on the break. Pockets the 6 but no obvious shot on the 1.

3-1 JA. Alex missed an easy 6-ball.

3-2 1-10 combo. Alex breaking.

4-2 after a very nice runout by JA.

4-3 for JA with an amazing kick at the 7 from Alex. He has missed two balls in the game so far. I think Archer is better (at the shotmaking part) on the 10-footer.

5-3 Johnny answers with a kick of his own. Breaks dry.

5-4 after a silly miss by JA.

Alex broke bad and didn't make anything.

5-5. Alex has started splitting the pockets.

Alex looks like he's been to hotel guantanamo bay and put through 60hrs of sleep deprivation torture, if it wasn't for that i would have him as a heavy favorite the bigger the table gets.

Alex made an amazing long shot on the 8.

6-5 for Alex. JA not looking good, he missed another ball on this rack.
 
6-6. JA breaks, makes a ball and has a clear shot on the 1.

EDIT: JA missed a long 5-ball.

7-6 Alex.

9-6 Alex is playing better in every aspect. Archer's game is deteriorating as time goes by. Fatigue?. Alex looks in superb form.

9-7 Alex. He played a billiard on the 10 which hanged in the jaws. JA made it right away.

I gotta go. I hope someone else updates next!

9-7 with Archer Breaking. Breaking just off to the left side of the head string. He has a decent layout but the 4 was tough so he plays safe leaving a fairly routine 1 rail kick for Alex. Alex slams the kick shot and the balls fly around and end up right back where they were before JA played safe. JA plays a nifty rail first safe.

Back and forth they go...JA overcuts the 4 pretty bad but doesn't leave much of a shot. JA comes back to the table with a nice chance to get out and he does just that.

9-8 Alex
 
Another decent break by JA with a shot on the 1. He overruns position just a bit on the 4 and ends stuck behind the 7. He has to kick at the 6. He hit it but Alex can see it. Alex fires in the 6-9 combo and ends up with a shot on the 6. He proceeds to run them out.
