Yes I am a holster maker also. I don't use horsehide. I don't know what you mean by stout but I only use cowhide.

I traced the one 3X6 and it was scheduled for delivery today, Aug. 9th.

Also, I can take payments if you are having financial difficulties. When you finish paying off the case, I will make it for you.

Thanks,
Jim

GL2102 Case review

I received the GL2102 case from Jim Murnak yesterday. The case is a 3x6 from the vintage line. The color is a black to dark red to black fade. Pictures on Jim's site do not come close to doing the case any justice. As far as the weight goes, it weighed in at 7 lb. 8.1 oz. The case can be seen on Jim's Website at http://www.jimmurnakcuecases.com/gl2102.htm
The pockets are absolutely outstanding. If I had one thing that I may prefer to be different, it would be the latch. Having a lock on the case is like locking the doors on a convertible. My real concern would be getting the case stolen, after that they could get into it if they wanted to.
The high quality leather and stictching is simply outstanding. I rate your work as a 10 out of 10. I can only say, that the other top case makers have some new competition.
I said that I would compare it to my Jack Justis but that is hard to do. In all fairness they are both outstanding cases with superb workmanship. Both men are wonderful to deal with and I am happy to have one of each of their products. I will mainly carry the new Murnak case because it is a 3x6. I will still carry my Justis at times as well. I do prefer the pocket configuration of the Murnak, now I can carry my Jump cue, my cue extender (special configuration pocket), business cards etc and have everything organized by different pockets. If you get one of the cases at the promotional rate, you are stealing i!!. I would rate my case as a tremendous value.

My 2 cents... Joe Koontz

I want one!

I was asked last week if those who had not seen the email drawing for the free case could still get a #GL2100 Vintage 2X4 case for $285 shipped which I offered to all email participants. I agreed that it shouldn't matter if you were involved with the drawing or not since the price was an after thought. If you want an alteration of the #2100 2X4 such as a 3X5 or 3X6 the regular price difference would be added. If you need more info on this, just reply and I'll try to help.

Thanks,
Jim http://www.jimmurnakcuecases.com

Jim,

Thanks for extending your offer to those of us that didn't know about your drawing. I would like to order one of your cases, but can't decide between the 3x5 or 3x6. I'm not interested in the initials so I was wondering if you would knock $10 off the additional price for the larger case? I would also be interested in the pocket configuration that accomodates an extender.

Please let me know how I can order and pay for this at your special offer price. Also, what color would you suggest looks the richest?

Thanks, Dave

I wanted to add my thoughts to this. I think this is a great thing you're doing. I think the discount to AZBilliard Members is mutually beneficial. Hell, I want one!

That being said, I have been uncomfortable reading the last couple of posts as I do feel that gray line of business advertising is getting touched. Another post here or there, and it could construed as crossed. Enough customers will review the cases, so the word-of-internet free advertising will still be there. I just hope we/you can get to that point soon so that the readers who are feeling uncomfortable (and I guarantee there are more than two of us) won't feel compelled to speak up and make for a hateful discussion on the merits of your cases.

How long were you Quoted? For Delivery?

Right now it is 3-5 weeks. More to the 3 week side now but as it goes on it will probably take more time if the orders get heavier. So, if you are going to order, it would be better to order sooner than later because I will be doing the cases in the order in which they are received.

Thanks,
Jim
