All Japan 10 Ball Championship 2013 (21-24Nov2013)

Thorsten is the Man of steel. Great clutch game nicking Oi 11-9
Juicy quarter now on stream Chang v Lee Van

Sugaya v Kitatank seems to take forever . Ko waiting for the winner
Other qtr Mika v Johann Chua, Thorsten v Ignacio
Big cat fight Tsai Pei Chen v Park Eunji
Chou still standing . Kuo Tzu Ting may be the find of tourney. In absence of China players, Taiwan and Japan women players are dominating

The previous long match with Efren may be taking toll on Lee Van
Missed pot on 1 in rack 5. Then missed the 1 on the kick in rack 8 gjving Chang BIH.
Then Chang made the shot of match so far. Playing a long combo 1 onto the 5 and 3
7-2 now

chang won. lee van is now eliminated. other Filipino, Jeff Ignacio was also beaten by thorsten hohmann who will probably retain his rank as world #1 after this tournament.

Johann Chua beat Mika, 11-8, making this young gun the only Filipino contingent left in the tournament.

1 is Lee Van"s unlucky number. He broke in final rack and 1 ball knocked CB in to give BIH to Chang. Chang's break was not working turning up a number of dry breaks
Johan Chua KO Mika so chang v Johan in 1st semi . Thorsten waiting for Ko/ Kitani

Wow....who would have thought that Johann Chua would be the last pinoy standing? He just eliminated Mika 11 to 8.

Kids been a terror for awhile.
He needs to win this event, so then he can perhaps travel the whole world and hit the u.s. Sometimes. Without winning its unlikely he can ever make it here.

GL johann, you are no longer a hidden gem, thinks to these silly streams.

Hmm no semi stream yet cos they are waiting for Thorstens opponent. You are preferred for the tv or streaming table if you are world champ. Ko just won so it us big match up Thorsten V Ko

actually, during last year's Japan Open, Johann Chua reached the semifinals. Chang won the tournament beating Yang Ching Shun. Johann shared the 3rd/4th place with Fu Che Wei.

Ko butchered a ball. Hohmann takes advantage. Up 1-0. I want to stay up and watch but holy s it's 3 am.

Ko has ditched his orange Flock of Seagulls do, but maintains his pocketing ability and unreal break. 1-1.

Ko's 10 ball break is the only one I've seen that rival's SVB's. Remarkable.

Yes, Ko does not break as hard as Wu or de Luna but his is most effective, scattered balls with good shot on lowest ball. Read somewhere that Appleton says Ko has best break in 10B
It's deja vu again and Ko just repeating what he has been doing most of this tourney. Packing and packing them off
6-1 now . It's poetry in motion when someone plays B&R like he does. Thorsten now need double the number of racks that Ko need to win. :grin-square:

it might be over for thorsten. he scratched on the break. rack is pretty easy and soon Ko may be on the hill with him to break.

Ko just KO Thorsten to be first finalist
Ko was rolling along and looked at a thrashing at 9-1
Then he missed a bang on 2 ball and gave table to Thorsten who won the next 5racks and looked like he was going to do another clutch game of the day
At 6-9, Thorsten broke and scratched giving KO BIH. A few rolls short, Ko made an uneasy cut into side pocket to make it 10-6, Then it was just straight forward B&R in final rack for Ko to clinch it 11-6

Chang is on the hill, but Johan is fearless, just finished a rack to make it 10-7.

Now it's 10-8

This kid Johan is gutsy very confident
He made an audicious 1 ball reverse cut in to corner to open up the table and make it 10-9
