All Japan Championships

This Wu Jiaqing kid has some talent. He might just make a name for himself in the pool world.

LOL man the kid is the youngest world champion ever :).
FYI, he won both the world 9-ball and world 8-ball at the age of 16.
He lost to Darren Appleton in the World 10-ball final few years later.
And he's also one of the former champion of this All Japan Championship.

Pfft, now we have to wait 15 minutes for the next match... thanks Wu, could not have played with him like a mouse for a while to keep us amused?

He seemed to be breaking REAL well. Right there with SVB. Seemed to me he just ran the whole set out in like 4 innings or so.

Shows what you know. This Wu of which you speak is Wu Chia-Ching of Taiwan. This isWu Jiaqing, from China. Get your facts straight.

...Just messing with ya. :grin-square: I was being facetious with my first post.

I tuned in when the score was 4-1. I think I saw his opponent to the table once or twice after that. If Wu continues breaking like that, he'll simply be unbeatable.

all Filipino players passed through top 64 except for Kiamco of course (eliminated by fellow Filipino, Ramil Gallego)

Ko is in trouble. Currently behind 1-5. Orcullo also behind by 2.

4 pinoys are playing against each other.

Ko Pin Yi and Dennis Orcullo have both been eliminated.

Next session to start soon. Antonio Lining vs Mika Immonen on the live stream table.

Incredible match!
Mikka winns the lagg, then wins 2 games, breaks the 3rd and sees a ball. Scratches.
Then Antonio calmly finishes the game. Wins 2 more. Soory, 3 more. Now 4:2. Mikka was not at the table since 4 games. Those guys can play!!! Wow!

Mika just lost to Antonio Lining 11-4.

Therefore, Mika, Dennis Orcullo, Thorsten Hohmann, Daryl Peach, Carlo Biado, Jeff de Luna, Ko brothers are all out of the tournament.

Waleed Majid was leading 9-3 over his opponent then managed to lose 10-11. So he is out too.

Who is this Antonio Lining?
He seems not young, but I have never heard of him.

He is a Filipino pool player that still plays good.

BTW, that was a clearly dominant win for Lining. Mika was simply outclassed and did not know what hit him.

The Wu/Ignacio match will be awesome to see. I'm rooting for Ignacio to win the whole thing, but if Wu continues to break like the 5 racks I saw of him earlier, then no one on earth would beat him.
