Never knew they used an allen head screw except to hold on the bumper. I have an R6, from the factory that uses a straight slot screw.
Rod
I've never tried to unscrew the bumper on my Schon. I was told by someone that the bolt and/or bumper screw was put in with place with a thread locking compound like Lock Tight. True or False?

There may not be an ounce of truth to it...I would like to change my bolt out though to go with a little heavier cue. Just never bothered with it before...I was told by this person to just ship it off to Schon and let them do it.Never heard of that. The weights are supposed to be adjustable. Dont see why youd want to lock it in forever. unless the threads were stripped and the bolt was rattling. But other than that id like to be able to adjust the weight of my cue.

They are glued in because they are not weight bolts per say. They use steel or aluminum to hit a weight range/balance they want, but the bolt itself is there to keep the butt cap on. Delrin doesnt glue well. Schon calls it an assembly bolt.Never heard of that. The weights are supposed to be adjustable. Schon DOES NOT use a Delrin butt-cap.
I don't know what proprietary mtrl it is but it is not Delrin.
