Why would anyone pay twice as much as the table is worth? I thought you could get a new Gold Crown for $4000.

she got it 6 to 8 months ago..its not really collectable.. she probably grown tired of it.. or she is moving and dont want to spend the money to take it so she would rather try and get somebody to pay double what its worth...

You would be a Pure Idiot to buy this table!!! If it had some special powers then it would be different.

I thought she was a Kasson rep?

Last time I talked to her at Valley Forge, ??? years ago, she had a cherry wood Diamond table. Seeing as she is a Kasson rep, maybe she is getting rid of the Goldcrown IV to have one of their tables put in?

Who said that you could buy it for $8k? Hell, the reserve is not even met at 8k...they probably want $15k...LOL.

Perhaps she's putting in a Diamond Pro with the IPT napped cloth to practice for IPT events?

I'd imagine it's certainly a lot easier for her to find tables setup for WPBA practice (I.E. Simonis 860 and BCA spec "bucket" pockets ) than it is to find a table setup to IPT specs.

Cost of GC4

The lowest cost of a new 9 foot GC IV I could find last year was $4700.
I guess she thinks someone is willling to pay up for table's history. And some may be willing to pay up only for bragging rights on the previous owner. Not smart business move.
By the way, I bought a Diamond Pro.
Regards,
Hal

I wonder why she's selling it? She just did buy it to replace a very nice Diamond she had in her home. I highly doubt a Kasson will replace it. I'll call and ask whats up.
