Am I at least 8th place?

I am playing in a 64 player double elimination tournament(It's actually 62 players or so, but some players are free the first round to compensate for that, however not me). I won 3 matches in a row, so now I am in the last 8 bracket in the winner zone. If I am to lose without winning anymore, will I still place in top 8? I am asking because the prizes are to 8th place. If I need to win more matches, how many do I need to win to place in top 8?
 
You are guaranteed top 12. If you win another match, you're guaranteed top 6. One more after that, top 3.

Nope. If you win your next winner's side match, then lose two in a row, you'd be 5th/6th.

Win two more on the winner's side, then lose two in a row, you'd be 3rd. Do a search for pictures of double elimination brackets, you'll figure it out.

Normally, if he wins another one he's guaranteed 7/8 spot. One more guarantees the 4th spot. (Edit: I misunderstood this post to mean he was in the loser's bracket.)
