am i the only one who thinks pool tables are too short?

I believe my Diamond sits up about an 1.250 higher then the Gold crowns that I play on. It is not a huge difference but it is noticeable. I am 6'2" and can adjust to any table if it means that I play:p.

...and that was over 25 years ago.

glad the legend thinks so too

Seems I can't read either..but Johnnyt still has humor..to op..you do as well.

thanks!

I think you got a style problem.
I come from golf where you're always adjusting your stance to suit the shot.
I see players that are 5 ft. tall and 6 ft. 5 in. who always seem comfortable.
Sooo...your stance should suit the conditions....not just yourself.

In golf, the ground is always the same, right under your shoes. I guess the rule that your feet have to be on the ground could reflect the need for short people to stand on a milk crate. Tall people, ??? Get a floor which lowers to make table higher, or a scissor jack to adjust for varying heights and keeping the table level?

I guess it was because I was using my phone to start the thread, i didnt elaborate more.

Though I do subscribe to the idea of flexibility, i dont think it works the same for cue sports.

i have been taught that the key has always been consistent execution/delivery of the cue, meaning that your technique has to be identical every time you make a shot.

flexibly adjusting to the shot doesnt allow that... if the table is shorter, my stance has to be wider and my back will bend lower, which will affect my cue delivery because it is different.

please correct me if im wrong :)
