Am I the only person that would like to see this?

I would like to see Mike Dachaine hook up with SVB playing 10 ball? Long race format, or best of 3 races to 25. Dachaine would be an under dog (i think by less than what he would get credit for) And it seems like when those to lock horns in a tournament it's a tough match and there seems to be a little bit of a rough spot between them.

Mike has a lot of fight in him, and we all know how Shane plays. I think it could make for an interesting match.

thoughts???

He's a little too spicy for my taste.

If you look on YouTube there are a few matches of them already uploaded, in good quality. The ones I am watching are 9 Ball Turning Stone - Final Day and a 10-ball Seminole match. Not exactly a long set, but you can watch them match up.

That's what made me ask the question to be honest. I think Mike is/has been improving leaps and bounds. If he ever wanted an opportunity to step up, this would be perfect. Plus the... temperment... of Mike, makes things interesting.

just my goofy thinking,

I doubt TAR/Justin would do it. Not the only format available but TAR would be best environment/Stream.

I would like to know what Dachaine thinks. Mike Doesn't seem like the type to back down from a dog fight, but it would be interesting to see how he thinks he matches up with Shane in one of these two formats? IF or HOW much weight he would need? I think if he gets a shot, and comes in dead punch, this could be a blast to watch.

This might be good action for an ACCU-Stats challenge but I doubt you will see Mike on TAR anytime soon. Mike and Shane have quite a history both of them have won and lost to each other. There is an old Accu-stats video when Mike played Shane and crushed him at the US Open I think a few years ago. I for one was hoping to see their rivalry unwind on the table at TAR during the first king of the table match ups after Mike beat Dennis. Lets hope this happens somewhere and is captured on video. Does anyone have a history of their matches showing wins and losses to each other?

I start this off with the qualifier of "what the heck do I know."...

Both great players. But speaking only for myself, I'm not sure it would be so interesting... It seems Mike Dechaine doesn't have the patience to play an effective game against someone like SVB. Not saying MD can't keep up, but he plays so aggressively it bites him in the butt when playing somebody like SVB. If MD would choose to stay focused and play more strategically then it may get more interesting.

On TAR I feel like it would just be a protracted set which would result with SVB besting. While I don't mind watching a match even if I know who will win (great pool with great players are always worth watching), I just think TAR could have more interesting match-ups (I'd +1 for MD vs Earl).

But I'll def take the previously mentioned short SVB vs MD matches...

On a long race,I don't see this match as even being close.Shane would
dismantle him bad.IMO

Ill rob him on a tight box ;)

I'm jk.

You are probably not joking THAT much hehe.

It will be a close game, could go either way. The 10 ball break is closer between Mike and Shane than just about any other player Shane has played, and both players can make the tough shots and jumps.
