It amazes me how many times i have money to spend and the people i want to buy from make it extreamly difficult to do so.

No return phone calls
No return emails
Poor customer service

I know some folks are not "business" types, but come on now....

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I guess i take my money somewhere else...

And it's just not in the billiard industry either. I see it everywhere. People could care less if you buy from them once or 55 times.

I just don't understand.

Large corporations often give special offers to new customers rather than offer existing customers loyalty incentives.

I've had multiple conversations with our satellite tv company and our cell phone carrier in the last couple months. It's beyond me why they care more about new business than the good quality customers they have already.

Regarding the pool industry (especially pool) and lots of others, they fail to realize KEEPING customers is more important than getting new ones. Not taking care of current customers is the most sure fire way to get a lousy reputation. And once you get that, makes it hard to get new ones!

When you hire only on low pay it's never going to change. How many times is your meal order correct if you order something that does not require pushing a picture of the item on a computer screen?
 
We (the consumers) are really not very smart or at the least not very disciplined. I fire companies all the time because of poor service or lousy product. I vote with my money. If more people would do that, we wouldn't have such shitty services, but unfortunately too many people just accept anything they are given.

I know we are guilty of this. I hope we get better because you're 100% right. it is easier to retain customers than to make new ones.

Hope you aren't talking about us but I just got back from the US Open and I am hoping I have at least responded to all email at this point... Phone messages I may not have gotten thru yet.....
