a fun theme Gambler cue that only
Paul Drexler can do
A smile is headed your way
Something you will never see again for the simple reason that no one can
do what Paul can do
I showed these designs to Mike Cochran and he and Tim Scruggs loved the idea ,but in the final analysis could not figure how to do it(this was years ago when Kike was still alive and I was buying as many Tim Scruggs cues as I could get)
I asked Mike "who can do this?" and he said,"
"Your friend Drexler,he is the only one who can do that far out stuff"
He also said "You might not can afford it,but if you want it perfect, call Paul"
He also suggested that Ellen (Paul's talented wife and mother of two fine boys) might be the brains behind this artistic stuff.
ALL I know is I LIKE IT and you will too
Traditional basics with a Paul Drexler twist
If you like what you see

the price is reasonable ,but confidential
I wish I had owned this cue when I was younger and still played
for money,it was so much fun to walk into the pool room knowing I was going to play
Every player in the world came to Dallas and before long played me,I played so poorly that I got big spots, and as a reslt I would win most of the time. But not always as Bushwhacker can attest, and Cliff, and Richie and Louie Roberts ,Ronnie and Fats I am beginning to feel like a sucker
but in spite of it all this game could be fun,but I don't need to tell you guys,
I love the cue you are getting ready to see because the message represents the attitude that all of us
had in those days.
The art works of the basic cue is traditional and perfectly done, the mother of pearl inlays are my favorite in spite of the fact that they are so traditional (or I should say because they are so traditional) and the mouse
well you guys all recognize the mouse,a comic book icon
Let me tell you about this cue.
John Davis made the blanks especially for Paul.exclusively for Paul
and are unlikely to ever be available again.John himself has no small place in the history and lore of pooldom
Some of John's blanks were the exact components in the Balabushka cues that we all love.
Something that you might think of like the old Titleist blanks ,but so much better in terms of quality
So this cue has its roots in tradition, history and all the stuff that makes old guys like me
appreciate, maybe tear up a bit .That is what I asked Paul to do for me
The mother of pearl is there for the same reason, and when I saw how beautiful the cue already was,it hit me
that if the groovey power mouse image could be inlaid into the ebony area that I might have something special
Something special
Before you say,"its nice but its not my style"
It is nobody's style yet,it's one of a kind
David Kirsenbrock put a Toucan bird in a cue years ago
sound crazy to you today, try getting it under $30,000 or a lot more
So I asked Paul to weave his magic and make me smile
His wife Ellen got involved and I knew I had something special on the way
Take a look at the Monstermash ,the Mighty Mouse
