Hi Guys,

I have 6 of these lying around still!! I believe they are Amboyna Burl...pete is working on a full splice for me using one of this blank. But I recall, some said that these squares are afrezia burl ??? Can anyone confirm or verify for me?? My brother shop in Cambodia tell me it's amboyna burl and they make high quality furniture with them. I sold some of these on here but have decided to use them for my full splice along with my ebony. These squares are very dense like my dark ebony squares.

looks like Amboyna,but without seeing it in person it is hard to say.Afazelia is usually lighter in color,but not always.it is going to be difficult to get someone to tell you over the internet for sure what it is.

i would advise against a 24" long piece of Amboyna used as structural part of the cue.
