Started today at 4pm free stream today and great match at 8pm Mike Dechaine Edgie Geronimo race to 120 in the round robin stage. PoolActiontv.com
Gotta run, never had so many different things to attend to at once.
15 players qualified. All earned expense money ($800) 2 day event and top 8 cash for more. Ttyl folks

American Rotation Championship Series 5 from Derby City Classic 2015

Here are the results of Thursday's round robin groups. We had 3 groups with 5 players in each and everyone played 4 matches to 120 points each. The top 2 from each group move into the final 8 and the two best 3rd place records also move into the final 8. All 8 players will now be seeded based on win loss record and point differential into an 8 player single elimination bracket.

In the group stage standings went by Win Loss, Head to head and then points.

What are the payouts?
 
Not the most prize money ever but imo the best any format has ever offered. NO losers!
$2400 + $800 expense
$1500 +$800 ex
$750 + $800 ex

9th-15th (one no show for 16:( $800 each for expenses.
The worst that happened to any player was they played 9 local matches of Rotation of 2-3hrs at $20 per match and never won any local or national money.

Finals were another dream come true: World Class Pro vs a 60hr per week working family man (4 kids) Match went back n forth right to the end. Race to 140 Mike Dechaine was winning 122-118 scratched on the break giving Jody McLaughlin of Big Dog Billiards IA 2 points to 120 and Mike needed all 18 points left to close the match out or Jody would have a chance to break and run 20 points for the title. Mike made a very tough out running all 13 remaining balls for a 140-120 3rd consecutive title and has now earned about $10,000 by participating in the the American Rotation Championship Series.
Pros earn extra expense money and the working men and aspiring players get to pursue their passion in a format that makes sense.
