Jon Smith won one spot, going undefeated. The match for the 2nd spot is being played now, between Alex Masucci and Jude Rosenstock.

Congrats to Stevekur1 and Forumghost for coming in 3rd and 4th, respectively. The match between Jude and Steve just now was a super-close one, with Jude coming out on top 100-92.

Thanks a lot Steve it was great having you there with Danny and it was a good first outing for me of a tournament of this type and am now going to be obsessed with going to more and more tournaments keeping my hand in the competitive game.

Thanks again Steve

Yeah thanks alot for the props stevie, i guess i really need to work on those tournament nerves !!!!

Congrats to Jonathan and Jude, two fine players, two fine gentlemen, and two good friends. Look forward to cheering for both at Comet.

Wow, thank you guys! This will be my first trip to the World Championships and my first major event since 2003 so I'm really excited! No predictions but if you want to see me play, get there EARLY!

Congrats to John and Jude !

Kudos to Jude, who plays a very diciplined game. your stature at the table is flawless, and your focus on every shot is incredible. you have all the ingredients to be a top player.

Good luck at the worlds guys !

Well said. Its almost as if Jude pockets the balls with his mind and focus alone. The way he focuses and stares down the balls, its like they get intimidated and run away to the pockets to hide.

I was hoping to see more of this yesterday, but due to work, I only caught the last 30 balls or so. Congrats and good luck.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the kind words. I felt the whole day was a real grind and our match was no exception. The score was only one indication of how close it was. From the beginning, we were in the midst of a battle. I look forward to playing you again. Which room do you normally play out of?

i typically play in 2 rooms on long island. Liesure Time Billiards and House Of Lords.

But i am gonna start playing some more tournaments to see if i can shake those Tournament Nerves. i cannot believe how shakey i was, especially when i was playing you.

I guess knowing your rep i knew it was gonna be a real hard match for me to win, and knowing that any miss could cost me the game if you got to the table and got on a run..........

Maybe i will see you around at one of the predator events or something!

Great Shooting & Good Luck at The Worlds !
Steve

I Look forward to having to play you again, you are the type of player that i need to play to get my A$$ back into the game !
